I’m Matt Perusi, a tattoo artist and illustrator based in Waynesville, North Carolina.

My work is grounded in illustration, combining bold linework, strong composition, and a balance of dark themes, humor, and nostalgia. Each piece is built with clarity and intention—designed to hold its impact over time.

I hold a BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design, and spent nearly a decade as a Graphics Manager alongside years of freelance design. That foundation informs everything I create today—structure, readability, and long-term design integrity.

Now co-owner of Bones N’ All Tattoo, I specialize in illustrative black and grey work, color illustration, and American traditional-inspired tattooing, often influenced by horror and 90’s/early 2000’s nostalgia.

Outside the studio, I create original artwork and prints under Perusi Art—focused on memory, storytelling, and visual emotion.
